    Independence, Kansas—June 19, 2018— Netflix released the official trailer of its season three hit documentary series “Last Chance U” on Tuesday which features the Independence Community College (ICC) pirates football team and is set in Independence, Kan. Season three of the critically acclaimed, Emmy-nominated series follows the 2017-2018 ICC pirates football team and Coach Jason Brown as they vie for a spot amongst the best in the junior college football ranks.

    It features a handful of high-profile ICC student-athletes, including former Florida State and four-star quarterback prospect Malik Henry, former Texas Tech wide receiver Carlos Thompson, and former Michigan running back Kingston Davis. The production gives viewers an intense, unfiltered look at the rising underdog ICC junior college football program in the quaint town of Independence, Kan. Trailer: The entire third season of “Last Chance U” will premiere on Netflix on July 20, 2018. Seasons one and two of Last Chance U followed the football team at East Mississippi Community College in Scooba, Mississippi. The 2018 pirates football season kicks off Thursday, August 23 at 6:00 p.m. At Dodge City Community College in Dodge City, Kan. The team continues to be led by Jason Brown who enters his third season as head coach.

Over the years, he has been Adjunct Professor at Florida International University, Florida Atlantic University, and the International Fine Arts College. Brechner holds a BS in Industrial Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia and an MBA from Emory University in Atlanta. His other publications include Contemporary Mathematics for Business and Consumers, A Little Math with Your Business, and Guidelines for the New Manager. Bob lives in Coconut Grove, Florida, with his wife, Shari Joy.
